The Nashua South Purple Panthers basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Merrimack Tomahawks to 49 in the Purple Panthers league victory on Friday.

The Purple Panthers now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spaulding for a Division I contest on Tuesday, February 21. Nashua South will battle a Red Raiders team coming off a 48-38 league loss to Keene (Keene, NH). The Red Raiders record now stands at 5-8.

The Tomahawks (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Windham (Windham, NH). The Jaguars come into the Division I contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Windham was defeated by Concord (Concord, NH), 59-53, in a league contest.
