The Portsmouth Clippers basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Merrimack Tomahawks to 42 in the Clippers league victory on Friday.

The Clippers now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Concord for a Division I contest on Friday, January 20.

The Tomahawks (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Lebanon (Lebanon, NH). The Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Lebanon was routed by Coe-Brown Academy (Northwood, NH), 52-45, in a league contest.
