New Hampshire High School Basketball - Portsmouth tops Goffstown
February 8, 2023: Portsmouth, NH 03801 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Portsmouth Clippers (Portsmouth, NH) and the visiting Goffstown Grizzlies (Goffstown, NH), saw Portsmouth's basketball squad knock off Goffstown by a count of 62-49.
With the victory, Portsmouth upgrades its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Clippers host Manchester Memorial (Manchester, NH) to play the Crusaders in a Division I challenge on Friday, February 10. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 10-7. Manchester Memorial won 50-36 in their recent league challenge against Keene (Keene, NH)
Next up, the Grizzlies play the Merrimack Tomahawks (Merrimack, NH) in a Division I challenge, on Tuesday, February 14. Goffstown will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Tomahawks come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 55-51 league loss to Concord (Concord, NH).
