Texas High School Softball - Coppell gets by Queen City
February 17, 2023: Queen City, TX 75572 The Coppell Cowboys (Coppell, TX) softball nipped the host Queen City Bulldogs (Queen City, TX), 18-17 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Cowboys (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Lockhart (Lockhart, TX). The Lions go into the non-league bout with a 0-1 record. In their last bout, Lockhart was edged by Seguin (Seguin, TX), 10-2, in a non-league bout.
The Bulldogs now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Franklin for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 18. Queen City will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 9-7 non-league loss to Carroll (Corpus Christi, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 1-5.
