Vermont High School Ice Hockey - Champlain Valley Union can't get by Mt. Mansfield
February 17, 2024: Jericho, VT 05465 Mt. Mansfield Cougars (Jericho, VT) fans left the game thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their ice hockey team hold off the visiting Champlain Valley Union Redhawks (Hinesburg, VT), 4-3 in a league match.
The Cougars (9-7) will now prepare for their match against Middlebury (Middlebury, VT). The Tigers enter the match with a 5-11 record. In their last match, Middlebury held off Rutland (Rutland, VT), 5-2, in a league match.
Next up, the Redhawks encounter the Hartford Hurricanes (White River Junction, VT) in a match, on Wednesday, February 21. Champlain Valley Union will attempt to advance on its 5-11 season record. The Hurricanes enter the match with a 9-7 record after their 1-0 league loss to Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT).
