Michigan High School Basketball - Coloma holds off Lawton
February 17, 2025: Lawton, MI 49065 The Coloma Comets basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Lawton Blue Devils to 53 in the Comets non-league triumph on Monday.
The Comets now have a 12-7 record. They play next when they host Benton Harbor for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 19. Coloma will confront a Tigers team coming off a 55-49 non-league loss to Buchanan (Buchanan, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 15-7.
With the loss, Lawton falls to 6-13 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Black River (Holland, MI) to confront the Rats in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. The Rats go into the game with a record of 6-13. Black River won 61-49 in their recent non-league game against Saugatuck (Saugatuck, MI)
