The Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) basketball crushed the visiting Westhill Vikings (Stamford, CT), 59-36 in Monday's league bout.

The Wreckers now possess a 16-3 record. They play next when they travel to Ridgefield for a Fairfield County bout on Wednesday, February 19. Staples will play a Tigers team coming off a 62-47 league win over New Canaan (New Canaan, CT). The Tigers record now stands at 17-3.

With the loss, Westhill falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Trumbull (Trumbull, CT) to play the Eagles in a Fairfield County bout on Wednesday, February 19.
