Georgia High School Soccer - Athens Academy knocks off Clarke Central
February 17, 2025: Athens, GA 30605 In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Athens Academy Spartans soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 victory over the Clarke Central Gladiators.
The Spartans (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Hebron Christian (Dacula, GA). The Lions go into the non-league outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Hebron Christian got by South Gwinnett (Snellville, GA), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Gladiators battle the Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, February 18. Clarke Central will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Eastside (Covington, GA).
