Next, the Spartans face the Rabun County Wildcats (Tiger, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 8 contest, on Thursday, April 3. Athens Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 3-8 record after their 8-0 league win over Banks County (Homer, GA).
The Jaguars (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Greene County (Greensboro, GA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 4-9 record. In their last contest, Greene County held off Salem (Conyers, GA), 6-0, in a non-league contest.
