Northern Highlands Highlanders (Allendale, NJ) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Paramus Spartans (Paramus, NJ), 48-40 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Northern Highlands upgrades its record to 17-7 on the year. The Highlanders host Hackensack (Hackensack, NJ) to confront the Comets in a non-league contest on Thursday, February 19. The Comets go into the contest with a record of 14-8. Hackensack lost 66-61 in their recent league contest against Ramapo (Franklin Lakes, NJ)

In their next game, the Spartans confront the Ridgewood Maroons (Ridgewood, NJ) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, February 19. Paramus will attempt to upgrade on its 10-13 season record.
