Lamar County Trojans (Barnesville, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Jenkins Warriors (Savannah, GA), 10-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lamar County upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Trojans travel to Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA) to face the Indians in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 19. The Indians enter the bout with a record of 1-1. Lumpkin County won 8-6 in their recent non-league bout against Riverwood (Atlanta, GA)

Next, the Warriors face the Burke County Bears (Waynesboro, GA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 19. Jenkins will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Bears enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Grovetown (Grovetown, GA).
