Georgia High School Baseball - West Laurens defeats Morgan County
February 18, 2022: Madison, GA 30650 West Laurens Raiders (Dexter, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Morgan County Bulldogs (Madison, GA), 10-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, West Laurens upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Raiders host Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA) to battle the Purple Hurricane in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 22. The Purple Hurricane come into the test with a record of 0-2. Fitzgerald lost 9-2 in their recent non-league test against Irwin County (Ocilla, GA)
With the defeat, Morgan County falls to 1-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Jefferson (Jefferson, GA) to battle the Dragons in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 22. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 3-1. Jefferson won 14-3 in their recent non-league test against Bowdon (Bowdon, GA)
