Grand Ledge Comets (Grand Ledge, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Everett Vikings (Lansing, MI), 55-46 in a league bout.

With the victory, Grand Ledge upgrades its record to 5-12 on the campaign. The Comets host DeWitt (DeWitt, MI) to play the Panthers in a Capital Area - Blue bout on Friday, February 25. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 8-8.

Next up, the Vikings play the Forest Hills Northern Huskies (Grand Rapids, MI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 19. Everett will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record. The Huskies come into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 42-36 league loss to Byron Center (Byron Center, MI).
