The Meridian Mustangs basketball team scored 69 points and held the host Gladwin Flying G's to 43 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ogemaw Heights for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 22. Meridian will battle a Falcons team coming off a 60-53 non-league loss to Clare (Clare, MI). The Falcons record now stands at 8-8.

The Flying G's (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Beaverton (Beaverton, MI). The Beavers enter the Jack Pine contest with a 7-9 record.
