Platt Panthers (Meriden, CT) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Rocky Hill Terriers (Rocky Hill, CT), 79-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Platt upgrades its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Panthers host Maloney (Meriden, CT) to play the Spartans in a Central Connecticut - South Colonial bout on Tuesday, February 22. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 6-13. Maloney lost 68-30 in their recent non-league bout against Bristol Central (Bristol, CT)
