Michigan High School Basketball - Manistee holds off Muskegon Heights
February 18, 2022: Manistee, MI 49660 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Manistee Chippewas (Manistee, MI) and the visiting Muskegon Heights Tigers (Muskegon Heights, MI), saw Manistee's basketball squad hold off Muskegon Heights by a tally of 48-43.
With the victory, Manistee improves its record to 3-14 on the campaign. The Chippewas host Kingsley (Kingsley, MI) to confront the Stags in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 22. The Stags come into the challenge with a record of 11-6. Kingsley lost 63-41 in their recent league challenge against Glen Lake (Maple City, MI)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Ludington Orioles (Ludington, MI) in a Lakes 8 challenge, on Friday, February 25. Muskegon Heights will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Orioles come into the challenge with a 14-5 record after their 56-37 league win over Muskegon Catholic Central (Muskegon, MI).
