Watervliet Panthers (Watervliet, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Martin Clippers (Martin, MI), 49-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Watervliet upgrades its record to 16-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Berrien Springs (Berrien Springs, MI) to play the Shamrocks in a non-league bout on Monday, February 21. The Shamrocks go into the bout with a record of 2-16. Berrien Springs lost 41-23 in their recent league bout against South Haven (South Haven, MI)
