Rio Grande City Rattlers (Rio Grande City, TX) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Martin Tigers (Laredo, TX), 6-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Rattlers confront the Cigarroa Toros (Laredo, TX) in a 5A Region 4 District 30 challenge, on Friday, February 25. Rio Grande City will attempt to better on its 10-3 season record. The Toros enter the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 5-0 league loss to Mission Veterans Memorial (Mission, TX).

The Tigers now have a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roma for a 5A Region 4 District 30 challenge on Friday, February 25. Martin will confront a Gladiators team coming off a 3-2 league win over Palmview (La Joya, TX). The Gladiators record now stands at 5-1.
