Mississippi High School Basketball - Wayne County succumbs to West Jones
February 18, 2023: Waynesboro, MS 39367 The West Jones Mustangs topped the host Wayne County War Eagles basketball team by a final score of 50-35 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Mustangs face the Picayune Maroon Tide (Picayune, MS) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, February 22. West Jones will attempt to move on its 8-8 season record. The Maroon Tide enter the game with a 18-15 record after their 66-20 non-league win over South Jones (Ellisville, MS).
With the defeat, Wayne County moves to 4-9 on the year.
