New York High School Basketball - Buffalo Academy of Science can't hold off Lackawanna
February 18, 2025: Lackawanna, NY 14218 Lackawanna Steelers (Lackawanna, NY) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Buffalo Academy of Science Wolverines (Buffalo, NY), 62-55 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Lackawanna advances its record to 6-11 on the year.
The Wolverines now own a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hamburg for a non-league match on Wednesday, February 19. Buffalo Academy of Science will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 66-41 non-league loss to Randolph (Randolph, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-4.
