With the victory, Hondo Valley advances its record to 10-10 on the year. The Eagles travel to Corona/Vaughn (Corona, NM) to meet the Cardinals in a A District 3 battle on Thursday, February 20. The Grizzlies now own a 0-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mountainair for a A District 3 battle on Wednesday, February 19. Carrizozo will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 59-52 league win over Alamo Navajo (Magdalena, NM). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-18.
