The Cherry Tigers basketball team scored 39 points and limited the host South Ridge Panthers to 36 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now have a 14-11 record. They play next when they host Carlton/Wrenshall for a A Section 7 game on Thursday, February 20. Cherry will confront a team coming off a 57-25 league win over Fond du Lac Ojibwe Ogichida (Cloquet, MN). The record now stands at 6-20.

With the loss, South Ridge falls to 11-15 on the campaign. The Panthers host Floodwood (Floodwood, MN) to meet the Polar Bears in a A Section 7 battle on Thursday, February 20. The Polar Bears enter the battle with a record of 20-4. Floodwood won 67-35 in their recent league battle against McGregor (McGregor, MN)
