Cherry Tigers (Iron, MN) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Hill City/Northland (Hill City, MN), 63-47 in a league match.

With the victory, Cherry upgrades its record to 8-9 on the year. The Tigers host East Central (Sandstone, MN) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Friday, January 24. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 4-11. East Central lost 71-36 in their recent league match against Swanville (Swanville, MN)
