In Tuesday's league test, the Texico Wolverines (Texico, NM) basketball squad knocked off the host Jal Panthers (Jal, NM), by a score of 51-39.

Next, the Wolverines clash with the Tatum Coyotes (Tatum, NM) in a 2A District 4 test, on Friday, February 21. Texico will attempt to improve on its 17-7 season record. The Coyotes come into the test with a 19-5 record after their 60-51 league win over Eunice (Eunice, NM).

The Panthers (10-15) will now prepare for their test against Hagerman (Hagerman, NM). The Bobcats come into the 2A District 4 test with a 9-14 record.
