In Tuesday's league contest, the host Monroe Trojans basketball team scored a close 40-37 triumph over the Skyline Eagles.

The Trojans (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Dexter (Dexter, MI). The Dreadnaughts go into the Southeastern - Red contest with a 15-5 record.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Pinckney Pirates (Pinckney, MI) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 20. Skyline will attempt to better on its 8-10 season record.
