Georgia High School Soccer - Gilmer knocks off Fannin County
February 18, 2025: Ellijay, GA 30540 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA) and the visiting Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA), saw Gilmer's soccer squad prevail over Fannin County by a count of 4-0.
The Bobcats (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe (Fort Oglethorpe, GA). The Warriors enter the non-league battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe tipped Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA), 9-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Rebels battle the Creekview Grizzlies (Canton, GA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, February 21. Fannin County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Grizzlies enter the battle with a 1-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Etowah (Woodstock, GA).
