Georgia High School Soccer - Murray County nudged by Fannin County
February 25, 2025: Blue Ridge, GA 30513 Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Murray County Indians (Chatsworth, GA), 5-4 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Fannin County moves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Rebels host Dalton Academy (Dalton, GA) to clash with the Pumas in a 1A D-I Region 7 test on Tuesday, March 4. The Pumas come into the test with a record of 0-5. Dalton Academy lost 9-0 in their recent non-league test against Darlington (Rome, GA)
The Indians now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Adairsville for a non-league test on Friday, February 28. Murray County will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 9-2 non-league win over Pickens (Jasper, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-0.
