North Carolina High School Basketball - Hoke County holds off Pinecrest

The Hoke County Bucks basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Pinecrest Patriots to 53 in the Bucks league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bucks now have a 11-11 record. They play next when they travel to Overhills for a Mid-South 7A/8A game on Friday, February 20. Hoke County will clash with a Jaguars squad coming off a 61-58 league win over Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 13-10.

The Patriots (8-14) will now prepare for their outing against Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC). The Buccaneers enter the Mid-South 7A/8A outing with a 12-11 record. In their last outing, Jack Britt was nipped by Richmond Senior (Rockingham, NC), 60-59, in a league outing.
