February 19, 2022: Eclectic, AL 36024 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Elmore County Panthers (Eclectic, AL) and the visiting Benjamin Russell Wildcats (Alexander City, AL), saw Elmore County's softball squad nip Benjamin Russell by a count of 3-2.
The Panthers now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Beauregard for a non-league match on Saturday, February 19. Elmore County will face a Hornets squad coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Valley (Valley, AL). The Hornets record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Benjamin Russell falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Central (Phenix City, AL) to face the Red Devils in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 22. The Red Devils enter the match with a record of 0-0.
