Texas High School Softball - Industrial gets by Wharton
February 19, 2022: Vanderbilt, TX 77991 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Industrial Cobras (Vanderbilt, TX) and the visiting Wharton Tigers (Wharton, TX), witnessed Industrial's softball squad tip Wharton by a count of 4-3.
The Cobras now sport a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Boling for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 22. Industrial will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Katy Taylor (Katy, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Wharton moves to 2-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to George West (George West, TX) to meet the Longhorns in a non-league match on Saturday, February 19. The Longhorns go into the match with a record of 2-1. George West won 13-0 in their recent non-league match against Victoria West (Victoria, TX)
