Texas High School Softball - Industrial nudges Van Vleck
March 5, 2022: Van Vleck, TX 77482 Industrial Cobras (Vanderbilt, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Van Vleck Leopards (Van Vleck, TX), 9-8 in a non-league challenge.
The Cobras now sport a 8-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hallettsville for a 3A Region IV District 28 challenge on Tuesday, March 8. Industrial will face a Brahmas squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Weimar (Weimar, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 10-3.
With the loss, Van Vleck falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Leopards travel to East Bernard (East Bernard, TX) to face the Brahmas in a 3A Region III District 24 challenge on Tuesday, March 8. The Brahmas enter the challenge with a record of 11-3. East Bernard won 1-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Lamar Consolidated (Rosenberg, TX)
