West Virginia High School Basketball - Greenbrier East knocked off by Bluefield
February 19, 2024: Bluefield, WV 24701 The Bluefield Beavers basketball team scored 84 points and held the visiting Greenbrier East Spartans to 66 in the Beavers league triumph on Monday.
The Beavers now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount View for a Freelance contest on Tuesday, February 20. Bluefield will meet a Golden Knights team coming off a 77-35 non-league loss to WestSide (Clear Fork, WV). The Golden Knights record now stands at 5-8.
The Spartans (5-16) will now prepare for their contest against Hurricane (Hurricane, WV). The Redskins enter the non-league contest with a 13-8 record. In their last contest, Hurricane ran past Nicholas County (Summersville, WV), 73-35, in a non-league contest.
