February 19, 2024: Erie, KS 66733 Fredonia Yellowjackets (Fredonia, KS) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Erie Red Devils (Erie, KS), 71-61 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Fredonia upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Yellowjackets host Caney Valley (Caney, KS) to play the Bullpups in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 20. The Bullpups go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Caney Valley lost 61-53 in their recent non-league bout against Erie (Erie, KS)
Next up, the Red Devils play the Neodesha Blue Streaks (Neodesha, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Erie will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record. The Blue Streaks go into the bout with a 8-11 record after their 59-53 non-league loss to Bluestem (Leon, KS).
