Michigan High School Basketball - Hale bests Whittemore-Prescott
February 19, 2025: Whittemore, MI 48770 The Hale Eagles basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Whittemore-Prescott Cardinals to 41 in the Eagles league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eagles now possess a 7-11 record. They play next when they host Mio-Au Sable for a North Star game on Friday, February 21. Hale will confront a Thunderbolts team coming off a 28-17 league loss to Oscoda (Oscoda, MI). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 9-7.
With the loss, Whittemore-Prescott falls to 1-20 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Alcona (Lincoln, MI) to confront the Tigers in a North Star game on Thursday, February 20. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 17-3. Alcona won 62-31 in their recent league game against Tawas Area (Tawas City, MI)
