Kankakee Valley Kougars (Wheatfield, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Knox Redskins (Knox, IN), 65-38 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Kankakee Valley upgrades its record to 11-8 on the year. The Kougars travel to Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN) to face the Wildcats in a Northwest Crossroads match on Friday, February 21. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 11-10. Hanover Central won 73-70 in their recent non-league match against Kouts (Kouts, IN)

The Redskins now sport a 2-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wheeler for a non-league match on Friday, February 21. Knox will face a Bearcats squad coming off a 54-34 non-league loss to New Prairie (New Carlisle, IN). The Bearcats record now stands at 9-10.
