In Saturday's non-league test, the Kankakee Valley Kougars (Wheatfield, IN) basketball squad got by the host Morgan Township Cherokees (Valparaiso, IN), by a score of 48-42.

Next, the Kougars clash with the Valparaiso Vikings (Valparaiso, IN) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 14. Kankakee Valley will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record.

The Cherokees (0-4) will now prepare for their test against Highland (Highland, IN). The Trojans come into the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Highland held off North Newton (Morocco, IN), 62-33, in a non-league test.
