The Kankakee Valley Kougars basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Highland Trojans to 50 in the Kougars league triumph on Thursday.

The Kougars now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Boone Grove for a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. Kankakee Valley will confront a Wolves team coming off a 76-36 league win over Tri-Township (LaCrosse, IN). The Wolves record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Highland falls to 8-2 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Andrean (Merrillville, IN) to confront the Fighting 59ers in a Northwest Crossroads game on Saturday, December 28.
