The Lowell Red Devils (Lowell, IN) basketball crushed the host Highland Trojans (Highland, IN), 53-30 in Saturday's league bout.

The Red Devils now possess a 7-5 record. They play next when they host Merrillville for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 14. Lowell will play a Pirates team coming off a 47-39 league loss to Chesterton (Chesterton, IN). The Pirates record now stands at 3-8.

With the loss, Highland falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Trojans host Munster (Munster, IN) to play the Mustangs in a Northwest Crossroads bout on Thursday, January 16. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Munster won 55-27 in their recent league bout against Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN)
