In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Lowell Red Devils basketball team scored a big 61-40 triumph over the River Forest Ingots.

The Red Devils (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Kouts (Kouts, IN). The Mustangs & Fillies go into the non-league contest with a 17-3 record. In their last contest, Kouts was trounced by Hanover Central (Cedar Lake, IN), 73-70, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Ingots battle the Whiting Oilers (Whiting, IN) in a Greater South Shore contest, on Friday, February 21. River Forest will attempt to better on its 12-6 season record. The Oilers go into the contest with a 0-19 record after their 56-35 non-league loss to DeMotte Christian (DeMotte, IN).
