In Thursday's non-league test, the Smiths Station Panthers (Smiths, AL) softball squad overwhelmed the host Valley Rams (Valley, AL), by a tally of 16-6.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Beulah Bobcats (Valley, AL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, February 24. Smiths Station will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Bobcats go into the test with a 0-3 record after their 12-5 non-league loss to Holtville (Deatsville, AL).

With the loss, Valley moves to 0-1 on the season. The Rams travel to Glenwood (Phenix City, AL) to encounter the Gators in a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 24. The Gators come into the outing with a record of 2-0. Glenwood won 8-7 in their recent non-league test against Beulah (Valley, AL)
