Arkansas High School Basketball - DeWitt holds off Stuttgart
February 2, 2010: Stuttgart, AR 72160 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the DeWitt Dragons (DeWitt, AR) and the host Stuttgart Ricebirds (Stuttgart, AR), saw DeWitt's basketball squad hold off Stuttgart by a count of 42-37.
With the victory, DeWitt upgrades its record to 2-8 on the campaign. The Dragons travel to Heber Springs (Heber Springs, AR) to play the Panthers in a 4A Region 2 challenge on Friday, February 5. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 5-3.
Next up, the Ricebirds play the Clinton Yellowjackets (Clinton, AR) in a 4A Region 2 challenge, on Friday, February 5. Stuttgart will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 7-13 record after their 59-46 league win over Southside (Batesville, AR).
