The Hilltop Lancers basketball team scored 82 points and held the visiting Chula Vista Spartans to 57 in the Lancers league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lancers now sport a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clairemont for a non-league contest on Sunday, February 6. Hilltop will battle a Chieftains team coming off a 55-47 league loss to Crawford (San Diego, CA). The Chieftains record now stands at 12-11.

The Spartans (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Castle Park (Chula Vista, CA). The Trojans enter the South Bay contest with a 10-11 record. In their last contest, Castle Park was routed by Southwest SD (San Diego, CA), 46-35, in a league contest.
