North Ridgeville Rangers (North Ridgeville, OH) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Steele Comets (Amherst, OH), 55-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, North Ridgeville upgrades its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Rangers travel to Elyria (Elyria, OH) to play the Pioneers in a Southwestern bout on Saturday, February 5. The Pioneers come into the bout with a record of 2-13. Elyria lost 65-27 in their recent non-league bout against Olmsted Falls (Olmsted Falls, OH)

Next up, the Comets play the Avon Lake Shoremen (Avon Lake, OH) in a Southwestern bout, on Saturday, February 5. Steele will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Shoremen come into the bout with a 0-14 record after their 59-46 non-league loss to Solon (Solon, OH).
