February 2, 2023: Cape May, NJ 08204 The Lower Cape May Tigers (Cape May, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting Absegami Braves (Galloway, NJ), 64-53 in Thursday's league test.
The Tigers (14-4) will now prepare for their test against Ocean Township (Oakhurst, NJ). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 13-5 record. In their last test, Ocean Township notched a victory over Middletown North (Middletown, NJ), 65-48, in a non-league test.
The Braves now own a 16-6 record. They play next when they travel to Barnegat for a non-league test on Saturday, February 4. Absegami will encounter a Bengals squad coming off a 52-49 non-league win over Toms River East (Toms River, NJ). The Bengals record now stands at 7-11.
