The Flanagan-Cornell Falcons tipped the visiting Lowpoint-Washburn Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 76-71 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Falcons face the LeRoy Panthers (LeRoy, IL) in a Heart of Illinois game, on Friday, February 3. Flanagan-Cornell will attempt to move on its 12-13 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 9-11 record after their 57-45 non-league loss to St. Thomas More (Champaign, IL).

With the defeat, Lowpoint-Washburn moves to 12-14 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL) to battle the Mallards in a Tri-County battle on Friday, February 3.
