The Southern Wells Raiders basketball team (Poneto, IN), was nudged 52-49 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN)

The Patriots now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northeastern for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 4. Jay County will battle a Knights team coming off a 54-41 league win over Hagerstown (Hagerstown, IN). The Knights record now stands at 15-3.
