The West Milford Highlanders (West Milford, NJ) basketball felled the visiting Lakeland Regional Lancers (Wanaque, NJ), 69-60 in Thursday's league test.

The Highlanders (4-12) will now prepare for their test against Westwood (Washington Township, NJ). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 8-9 record. In their last test, Westwood was beaten by Ramsey (Ramsey, NJ), 53-31, in a league test.

The Lancers now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to Passaic County Tech for a non-league test on Saturday, February 4. Lakeland Regional will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 52-41 league win over Bergen Tech (Hackensack, NJ). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-8.
