The River Valley Vikings basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Marion Harding Presidents to 45 in the Vikings league triumph on Thursday.

The Vikings now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shelby for a Mid-Ohio - Red contest on Saturday, February 4. River Valley will battle a Whippets team coming off a 87-53 league win over Highland (Marengo, OH). The Whippets record now stands at 15-2.

The Presidents (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against Clear Fork (Bellville, OH). The Colts enter the Mid-Ohio - Red contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Clear Fork was defeated by Pleasant (Marion, OH), 71-68, in a league contest.
