Mt. Zion Prep Academy Warriors (Lanham, MD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Shabach Christian Academy Gold/Navy Eagles (Landover, MD), 62-58 in a league bout.

With the win, Mt. Zion Prep Academy upgrades its record to 19-13 on the season. The Warriors host Rock Creek Christian Academy White (Upper Marlboro, MD) to play the Eagles in a Freelance bout on Saturday, February 4. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

With the defeat, Shabach Christian Academy Gold/Navy moves to 14-10 on the year.
