St. Joseph Falcons (Metuchen, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Rutgers Prep Argonauts (Somerset, NJ), 73-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Joseph upgrades its record to 10-6 on the season. The Falcons travel to Lawrenceville School (Lawrenceville, NJ) to play the Big Red in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Big Red go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Lawrenceville School lost 92-76 in their recent league bout against St. Benedict's Prep (Newark, NJ)

Next up, the Argonauts play the Oratory Prep Rams (Summit, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. Rutgers Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 11-8 record after their 66-60 non-league loss to South Plainfield (South Plainfield, NJ).
